Uninhabited since 1848, Handa Island is located in northwest Scotland and is managed by the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

It is home to 20,000 seabirds, including puffins, short-tailed skuas, Arctic terns, puffins and more.
Every summer, more than 7,000 tourists come to Handa Island to watch birds. During the busiest time, there can be as many as 150 visitors a day.
